With 2012 coming to a close I feel it is an appropriate response to thank those who have supported me this past year. Without the quality service and products that i received, I would not have had the great opportunities to serve, coach, teach, train and compete.
First and foremost I thank the folks, friends and teammates from the Hamburg Fitness Center in conjunction with Nexcare Health Systems. We had an awesome season, and i appreciate your willingness to let me travel and race, while also training all our great athletes to reach new heights of fitness.
To Shawn at my hometown bicycles for being the absolute best in customer care and bicycle maintenance guru.
To Craig at Lane Gainer Sports and Halo Swim Training for helping me try to knock off every second i can in swimming. Despite my lack of volume in the pool and absolutely no swimming background I think I do alright. I look foreword to more progression in the future.
To James from Louis Garneau for connecting me with company that makes the most comfortable and functional bicycling and triathlon apparel on the market. Our team loved the custom uniforms this season.
To Chad at Level Multisport for supplying our team with Orca wetsuits, of which i swam to a new half -iron PR in the "Alpha"
To Jonathan at Runnin Gear for providing awesome customer service and helping out with some shoes from time to time. Good Luck at the Western States 100 ultra in 2013!
To Ben at Blue Bicycles and tri to finish racing for taking the time to help me find a new road bike. I love the AC 1, it is the swiftest and most enjoyable ride I have ever had. Although, i have had a large number of people ask me if i want to trade bikes when we go for rides. I also thank you for creating and directing awesome race experiences in the fine state of MI.
To Matt at Rolf Wheels for supplying new race wheels this season. I set a couple PRs this season in both olympic and half iron races. Riding the tdf 60 sl front wheel coupled with the disc rear wheel was the perfect combo. A smooth yet responsive ride in all conditions.
To Bruce at CEP for the compression socks and sleeves. Every chance that i had to wear the sleeves while racing I did. I set new running PRs for all distances and never felt fresher while competing. I love to wear the socks when i train and coach other athletes, which entails a lot of standing and having the benefit of compression wear that works certainly decreases the fatigue i would otherwise feel at the end of the day.
To Mike at X-Laces for creating a lace that not only works for triathlon racing, but also for anyone who wants the most comfortable fit that any shoe can offer. These laces allow you make any part of your shoe looser or tighter depending on your foots anatomical structure, truly amazing.
To Shannon at Stone Coop Farm for making awesome organic produce that supplies a few of the calories that i need to replenish my body day after day.
Thanks again to all of you who have read and visit this website. I hope I can be an encourager to you in your endeavors for a fitter, healthier, and fulfilling life.
