I just finished off 2012 with a 13 mile run shared with my girlfriend Kate (5 miles) and my brother Jay (3.5 miles) and then i finished off the run (4.5 miles) just by myself and God. It was a great time to reminisce and enjoy the beauty of the Tetons in Jackson Hole, Wy.
2013 will have a different start than 2012. This year I will not be coming off a bike injury, nor a shoulder surgery and i will be supported by some new and some old sponsors. I look forward to joining team TRI4HIM, as well as Cycle Club Sports.
It is a great time for all of you to plan for the upcoming season and make some goals for the spring, summer, and fall so that new year's resolutions don't fall off the wagon by mid January. I encourage both clients in person and online and those who are reading this to make up reasonable goals and be flexible enough to make changes along the way. As life tends to get in the way of the plans we make, it is essential to be forgiving of yourself and in the same light celebrate the little victories. The final thing to remember is that each and every training session wether it be personal, physical, or spiritual ought to be enjoyable and fulfilling in the end despite the struggles we may go through. "And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith." - Hebrews 12
