MY MISSION : To Encourage
ENCOURAGEMENT is the first of two things that I use to keep a person on track to accomplish a fitness goal. The second is helping them accomplish a multitude of small but significant successes along the way.
Success is based on teamwork. I can provide the plan, the program, the tools, the technique, the advice, the schedule and the encouragement! However, it is ultimately up to the individual to make the time and and put in the effort.
Fortunately, with the right motivation, anything is possible! And for me, there is no greater purpose than to provide the encouragement to work hard and make improvements for positive life changes.
MY MISSION : To Inspire
Being a professional triathlete has definite advantages - the primary one being a means to INSPIRE those that I have the good fortune to serve.
A combination of an active childhood, a rewarding high school basketball and running career, and a fitness-focused education has made me well suited to pursue my two greatest passions: competing athletically and training others to do the same. Along the way, I have discovered that, in disciplining myself for professional competition, I am setting an example that others are inspired to follow and learn from!
In return, that inspires me to continue to do my best, compete well, and always be thankful. Success can be defined as winning races, while it is also about being a positive role model to those around you no matter the outcome.
